- Tutors to promote and "advertise" themselves and the courses that they run
- Training providers and other members to source tutors and assessors to facilitate their training courses
- Tutors to maintain an audit trail and records of their Continuing Professional Development
Welcome to The Alliance of First Aid and Health and Safety Tutors
For many years there has been talk about a "national register" of qualified tutors - this has never materialized. Whilst the Alliance is far from a "national register" it is hoped that it will go a long way in fulfilling this role.
The Alliance and this website allows tutors to upload information about themselves so that prospective employers can find suitably qualified tutors to facilitate their courses. The onus is very much on the individual tutors to keep their profile and supporting evidence up-to-date - remember this is your "shop window".
By uploading* your details and completing the training diary you will be providing good evidence of continuing professional development - something that is vital to keep your skills and knowledge up-to-date.
Training providers can search for prospective tutors by location but please note the Alliance is not able to verify the details uploaded on to the site by the tutors so please remember to carry out some due-diligence on anybody you are offering work to.
We are very much here to help so please do feel free to contact us with any questions or ideas that you may have - it is very much your Alliance.
*Only upload information you are comfortable sharing with others.
We will be running various events throughout the year ranging from one-day Study Days to a full two-day weekend retreat.
